How to conduct online surveys?

Here's a step by step guide on how to launch an online survey in just a few minutes.

CleverX is survey tool agnostic, that means you can host your surveys anywhere such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Typeform, Forsta or any other tool and invite relevant participants to your study.

STEP 1: Initiate survey launch

Start your research study by clicking the online surveys card and initiate the survey launch process.

STEP 2: Choose participant filters

Second step would be to use the powerful filters to bring the right audience to your survey. You can find people based on the following criteria:

  1. Industry

  2. Location (Country and City)

  3. Job roles (Current and past)

  4. Job function

  5. Seniority (Junior, mid, senior and C-Suite)

  6. Specific skills

  7. Company data

    1. Employer name (Current and past)

    2. Company headcount

    3. Company revenues

  8. Additional details on study objectives and goals.

STEP 3: Generate screener using AI (Optional)

In Step 3, The AI Screener generator will ask if you would like to generate a high-quality screener based on your survey requirements. You can either skip this step or generate a highly relevant screener to further validate participants before they can be invited to the live study.

You can edit the screener as you'd like by adding skip-logic, different question types and open ended questions etc.

STEP 4: Add survey link

In Step 4 add your live study link and the survey workflow will generate exit links. These links can be used to track successful, quota full and terminated participants in your survey tool.

STEP 5: Survey details and configuration

In Step 5 you can add further details of your survey such as:

  1. Profile visibility (To avoid response bias)

  2. Study title

  3. Internal study ID

  4. Survey length

  5. Auto-invite or Manual invite based on screener responses

  6. Custom message to invited participants

STEP 6

In Step 6 choose the number of succssful responses required and the Survey AI algorithm will provide you the participant incentive recommendation.

Participant incentive recommendations are optimized to get the max high-quality responses.

STEP 7: Review and launch

In Step 7 review and launch your online survey by adding your credit, debit card or subscription credits. Learn more about subscriptions pricing and credits here

Track your survey data

Lastly, in just a few hours start recieving responses in your survey tool and gather high-quality data.

From here you can:

  1. Look-up and expport participant data

  2. Invite additional participants

  3. Review participant LinkedIn verification

  4. Message participants

  5. Approve or deny new or inbound participant request to participate

  6. Check and export screener answers

You can always check participant information at respondent level, screener answers and even message participants from your survey dashboard
